The Network Managers Choice
LANSpy Bandwidth Monitor (Pro) has been designed for
the Professional Network Manager who needs to monitor
a large number of network ports/devices and their traffic
levels. LANSpy BM Pro is typically used to monitor router
bandwidth traffic, switch traffic (e.g. Cisco Catalyst
Switches) – just about any device that can supports
standard SNMP throughput data. |
Unlike its junior version, LANSpy Bandwidth Manager (SME),
LANSpy BM Pro has been designed with a large network in mind.
Working in the back-ground as a service under Win2000 Server
(preferred platform) or XP Pro, LANSpy Bandwidth Manager Pro
works tirelessly collating bandwidth data from 100’s
to 1000’s of ports.

LANSpy Bandwidth Monitor (Pro) starts at a minimum license
level of 50 ports and can be purchased or upgraded at any
time up to a maximum of 2000 devices/ports.
The initial installation and configuration of LANSpy BM Pro
can be completed in less than 10 minutes for virtually any
sized network. All management screens are delivered via standard
HTML web based forms. To enable you to get up-and-running
fast, LANSpy BM Pro has an Automatic Network Discovery option
that will list all the devices it finds on your network. These
automatically discovered devices are then listed ready for
you to simply select which ports you want to monitor.
The generated graphs can be published to the local web server,
FTP’d to a remote web server, or viewed in real-time
when you select the “graph” button.
LANSpy BM Pro automatically generates an index page listing
all your graphs. These pages contain the graphs and current
statistics for each given interface, for daily, weekly, monthly
and yearly ranges of data.
This is a “live example of a LANSpy Graph showing the
all important 95th Percentile calculation.
